on a technical level, like the art is actually Breathtaking at times. Abby is insane for all of those hands but some of the environments too??? that staircase in stranger gave me nightmares. the hero becoming unraveled is my favourite visual in anything ever period. Jonny’s absolutely awesome for his role(both as the Narrator which omg hes so good at voicing morally grey yappers who would rather be in a gothic horror about being gradually detached from humanity as a result of some or other horrible happening and as all of the other voices. particular shout outs to smitten for sounding just. so increadibly stupid. and to paranoid because heart lungs liver nerves gave me actual chills) and don’t even get me started on Nichole as the princess because by god does she Deliver. that one part before witch where damsel has to kill you is rolling around in my head Constantly. like they Could Not have found a better voice actress holy f*** is she amazing

which also I think IS one of the themes in stp(the fourth chapter of damsel I’m pretty sure is about being able to see flaws in something you’re a huge fan of and how it’s normal to get bored of things after a while, no matter how perfect they might seem? idk though as I’ve said I’m not That good at literary analysis. either way best route fr the opportunist is so awesomesause)
